Abby Radabaugh

Certified CrossFit Level 1 Coach

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. I’m a local of the Toledo area being born and raised in Holland, Ohio. I decided to venture into the world of CrossFit in 2019 when I was only 16 years old. Growing up I was very consistently involved with athletics. I played volleyball, basketball, softball, and tried many other sports. I grew very fond of volleyball at a young age and played travel from second grade up until my sophomore year in high school.

When I decided to leave the volleyball scene, I wanted to continue being active. Upon doing a Google search for gyms a CrossFit gym was the first to pop up. I decided to give it a shot and quickly fell in love with not only the ideals and functionality of CrossFit, but also the community and atmosphere created within the gyms.

It took only a couple of sessions for me to determine that I wanted to make it a consistent part of my life. After two years of CrossFit classes under my belt, I was encouraged by the owner of my gym to pursue a coaching career. I was very hesitant to the idea at first as I was only 18 years old, but my friends and coaches at the gym believed in me and convinced me to take the course. I ended up receiving my CF-L1 in November of 2020. I’ve been a coach now for almost three years and my love for the lifestyle has remained. I find joy in every class I coach and truly love what I do! Being able to help each individual in their personal fitness journey is the most rewarding experience. It brings me so much joy when our members hit a new PR or achieve a new skill.

I have also competed in two local CrossFit competitions and loved every second. Although competitions are designed for athletes to compete against one another, I participated with the intention to push myself beyond of my comfort zone and most importantly to have fun!

Outside of the gym you can find me at the University of Toledo working on my Bachelor of Science in Nursing or working with plants at Hoen’s Greenhouse and Garden Center. I currently live with my parents, and my older sister, along with my cat, Bubba, and my sister’s dog, Nala. You will most definitely see my family around the gym as I have spread my love for CrossFit to both of my parents, my sister, and three of my cousins! Although the sport of CrossFit can be very intimidating, I encourage every individual, no matter your athletic background and abilities, to give it a shot!

At our CrossFit Fenix you’ll find a loving community that will encourage you to pursue new goals and achieve skills you never thought were possible.
